The new Madden is much slower than previous versions. And this is a good thing. Being in the pocket actually feels like being in the pocket.
PS3 users have to wait until Friday. But download the demo and let me know what you think.

I got the full 5 minutes quarters version since I pre-ordered Madden 10 at my local gamestop. I have to say this is the best Madden video game that has ever been made! And that is saying a lot! The gameplay makes it feel like an actual NFL game. The cutscenes and animations are incredible! This is without a doubt the most visually stunning Madden ever. All my friends on my xbox 360 friends list agree this is the best one yet! I cannot wait till August 14 to get the game. My vote is 2 thumbs up! Way to finally get it right EA sports!!
I liked the Demo on the 360 but to me it's nothing really that new. For the casual user it just seems like more of the same but with flashier graphics. The one thing I am excited about is the online leagues but NFL2k series had that on the original Xbox years ago until EA stole the NFL license from them. At any rate, I will rent it from Gamefly and see how it goes. Wish they would have put online play into the demo.
The slower gameplay makes the game more realistic. I got tired of seeing players that were not that fast outrunning fast players. Also, no more of the 15 yard quarterback drops before throwing a pass. I cannot wait to play the online co-op play and the online leagues also. To say that the changes were nothing really that new is an understatement Schoon! If you have been following the Madden franchise every year as I have since it came out on 360, you would know this is the best xbox 360 version of Madden ever!
How about...it's impossible to tell with a whopping four minutes of gameplay.

If u have the demo code just type it in under Demos-Redeem Code. It will find the Demo for Madden 2010 and download it. I was looking all over the place and then just decided to type it in and it worked. From a avid Online Franchise Player coming over from the PS2 version of Madden, from what I saw it's a welcome breath of fresh air. Seems to me like the younger players seem to know all the lil tricks to the trade to continuosly whip my tail. (I'm 47 btw) Now all of my online franchise opponents are starting out on a clean slate and the playing field is level. I am an avid Panthers fan so I really hope Madden 2010 got it right with the run game. :-) Lets go Double Trouble!!!

I didn't know it but Xbox 360 consoles feature redesigned internal architecture with the Valhalla motherboard, which allows for around 30% more space and this is my favorite characteristic about this console. 23jj
Lat version of Madden was too much better.. I don't think the graphics and the game style was a few more entertaining, but this new Madden also has good qualities.
