Time Warner cable customers: New HD channels coming

Time Warner Cable is adding several new high-definition channels for Charlotte-area customers today (Dec. 30):

History Channel HD, RFD HD, Showtime Showcase and Showtime Extreme HD, MoreMax HD, and ThrillerMax HD.

Earlier this month, TWC added eight HD movie on demand channels and NBA TV HD.

TWC has also added a new "Whole House Movies on Demand" feature. When you order an on-demand film now, whether new release, favorite or classic choice, you can watch that show on any of the TVs in your home that have the digital cable box attached. Simply chose "All Boxes" when confirming a purchase.

I agree with "TimeWarnerSucks."

We want NFL Network, not some more premium channels that the majority of cable customers don't pay for in the first place!!!!

I've had History HD for months as a TWC subscriber in Charlotte...

It was History Channel International HD that was added. We already had History Channel HD. When are we going to get the Weather Channel HD? It was announced about a year ago that it was going to be added. The new RFD HD channel is a waste. I am waiting for Les Nessman to appear with the Hog Report.

Time Warner is the home of BAD, INCREDIBLY BAD customer service. I quit them a few years back and went to dish network. I am getting MORE channels for less money and MUCH better customer service. Boycott the timewarner monopoly and take one of the sattelite networks!!!!

It is good that Time Warner Cable introduces more new channels but one can get even more channels using dish network with a comparatively low cost.
