The spot he's touching is at the top back of the phone. Not a common place for people to touch the phone, and that's why the gap in the antenna was placed there. The iPhone's touchy spot is in a place you can't avoid if you hold it in the left hand. It's also only dropping 1.5 bars of signal in this video, and the iPhone loses 3-4 bars when it's antenna is shorted.
I can't count how many people have told me they can't hear my on my Droid, usually when I first call them. Droid has issues, just don't know what they are but antenna could be it
IPhone is like an Izod shirt when I was a kid. It is just a status symbol for people who don`t know much about technology. Android is far superior than Apple. And verizon is way better than Ma Bell. Langston is just an Apple fan boy, what do you expect.
Langston,
You only have like 3 articles about phones that don`t mention an Apple product.
I haven't had any issues with my Droid X. I've tried to replicate this but I can't. I still think it's more reliable than the iPhone.
@Brad
Then you are like 99% of iPhone 4 users who also haven't been able to replicate this problem.
However, I am glad for the amplification the complaints of the small minority (who did have legit complaint, I might add) got, since it means I don't have to spend 20 something bucks on a case anymore.
