Here's what the Panthers look like on Madden 10

EA Sports sent me some screen shots of several Panther players from the upcoming Madden 10. What do you think?

Overall the Panthers are rated an 83 overall as a team, which leads the NFC South.

Next gen screen shots:

Here are some shots from the Nintendo Wii version

Tell me this is for the Wii.. Those look like friggin' cartoon characters. These graphics would be a regression for the PS3 or the XBOX360!

Go Panthers!!!

yeah,

that first set is from the Wii version. Very cartoon like and odd. The PS3 / XBOX versions will be modeled like NORMAL people.

Does it have Delhomme completely falling apart when it counts most.

83? really? I know they changed the rating system this year but 83 used to be reserved for the pretty bad teams.

Anonymous 8:12pm I'll give you props on the humor, I got a chuckle out of it, but I just hope deep in the back of your mind you also remember the 12-4 and not just the 0-1 playoff record last year.

Out of the 12-4 record, how many games did Delhomme win for us? How was his completion %, well, over his whole career? Im not sure we have someone better on the bench, but i think it's time we find his replacement. We had a great run game last year, that hid Jake is the reason we were 12-4. May Fox actually play the best man, not his favorite.

How many games did he win for us last year? Let's see: San Diego, @New Orleans, Chicago, vs. Atlanta, Arizona (regular season), @ Green Bay. But hey, don't ever let facts get in the way of your argument.

dude that wii version looks like madden 95 on n 64????

Never played Madden 95 on '64 but ive got it on SNES... oh the good 'ol days

Seriously.. Jake falling apart under pressure?... the last time he's thrown an interception on a game winning drive in the fourth quarter in less than 2:00 to go in the game was in 2006 against the Bengals. Why go that far back to make him look bad in the present... yes he's had a few bad games in between... but while Jake has been our QB... the Panthers have always been contenders.... Some of you should look up some old Panther games and seriously appreciate all that Jake's done for us..... when his time is up in Carolina... maybe all you "since '03 fans" will learn to appreciate a legitimate win and not over-paid over-hyped athletes that are unproven... We all know how bad things were before Jake..... the after Jake era may not be much better.

But back to the graphics.... the Wii's suck alot and im glad I got mi x-box elite geared up for non-stop madden '09... mi '08 is too scratched up to continue :(

And that pick against the Bengals was on Keyshawn, period. Also, what's up with the mist around all of the players? Are they going to sell you the ability to see Claritin clear for Microsoft points?

Actually, it was 2006 vs the Eagles. It wasn't inside 2:00 vs the Bengals.

Have to give Turtleman some props on his 'account' of Panther History. He was close.

More importantly, his point is one that should be reflected upon by Panther fans. With the exception of Beuerlein's incredible season in 99 there aren't many big passing years in the team's history. Peete was servicable. Weinke just never looked comfortable. Since then, it's been Delhomme and the Panthers have contended. I don't understand all the 'hatred'!?

Yet and still, no rings. So 0-1 or 12-4 no wammy's. Neither record means much, or it means just that. What counts is the rings, not fan attendance nor wins vs. loses. RINGS...RINGS... I'M SURE you'll talk abt. the WIN vs. Tampa.. remember this.. (We gave the panthers the worst beatin all season.28points in our win, and we both ended up at the same place @ the end of the season.... watching 2 other teams play in the Superbowl)

Just leave it up for a Tampa fan to butt in a Panther debate with Panther fans...I was @ the MNF game last year....you hold no water because we seriously handed ya'll your packing bags for an early off-season. ONe more thing good luck next w/o your coach, defensive captain, track star reciever, and have fun with your Marine K2...the Bucs regressed.

Now back to the Panthers being 83:
I,ve seen the ratings for all of the other teams and they are spread out but, the Cowboys for some odd reason are like 85 or 86(they must've forgot TO's not a Cowboy anymore)...I can't wait till week 2 when we open up the "Jones Mahal" for MNF and put a stop to the belief that they're that much better than us.

Now for the Delhomme haters: Remember 2007? 8TDs through 3 games and 1INT before he was out for the whole year. If memory serves me right we started 3 other QBs who COMBINED didn't reach 8TD passes...Vinny broke a record, Carr leaped over a couple of Bucs(sweet play, but we lost), and we all wanted Moore(and he almost single handedly beat the Cowboys). Overall we sucked w/o a QB who could gun the ball down field to Smith. Jake's definetly not the best QB in the NFL, but he's the best we've got now.
One more thing(or two)
The pick against the Bengals was all Keyshawn(and he knows it), but the Philly pick on MNF was PASS INTER-FREAKIN-FERENCE!!! It would've been a great play if it were the 70s. The last 4th qtr pick Jake threw in the last 2mins was against the Dolphins in 05.

Finally...

Nintendo...i've always been loyal to you...but you crossed line with these graphics...sigh...now i don't feel as bad about leaning towards Playstion with me having a PSP workin on a PS3

His numbers are actually very similar to Big Bens in Pitt... so do you think the Steelers are looking for a new qb too?

83!!? We should at least be a 91 or 92 after how we preformed last season!! Ill be buying the game as soon as I can.
